Durango Community Shelter (970) 259-1021 The Durango Community Shelter serves families and individuals experiencing homelessness with comprehensive residential shelter services, and provides support to regain self-sufficiency. Alternative Horizons Office (970) 247-4374 Alternative Horizons provides support and alternatives to survivors of domestic violence and their families while striving to strengthen our community through education and prevention outreach. |

An application is required and reviewed for approval. All qualifying applicants should have a plan towards stable rebuilding or be willing to converse about creating a stable plan.
