INTRODUCTION
A Call To RUN FOR ONE
Welcome to the 3rd Annual A Call To RUNE FOR ONE {A.C.T. RUN 4-1}, a virtual race from coast-to-cost hosted by Power to Act, a nonprofit that seeks to offer justice, deliver practical kindness, and restore dignity for women facing adversity in our local and global community. You have the power to RUN FOR ONE, and together, RUN FOR ALL benefiting women across the globe!
Your Registration Fee will meet the basic physical needs of women facing adversity, rising from poverty, and escaping trafficking by funding projects + programs for local women in SW Colorado and talented artisans within our global partners.
You will also receive a t-shirt ethically made in Haiti, which you can proudly wear on Race Day + stories from our artisan partners + other Race Day goodies. Our only request is that post a Race Day picture with a SELFIE + #PTAactrun on social media
Confidently participate in the A.C.T. RUN 4-1 knowing that 100% of proceeds are directly donated to the local work of Power to Act and our amazing global partners including:

- Power to Act (SW Colorado): Support a program {in development} that provides basic vocation training and general life-skills for women escaping domestic violence who desire to obtain a suitable job.
- Vi Bella (Haiti): Provide new + properly fitted prosthetics for artisans who sustained loss of limbs during the devasting earthquake in 2010 - old prosthetics currently cause many artisans pain and discomfort after years of use.
- BYTAVI (Cambodia): Provide nutritious + daily lunch for 25 seamstresses for one OR MORE weeks. This includes fair wages for the cooks who prepare125 meals per workweek.
- SakSaum (Cambodia): Upgrade computers for a computer class, which gives women technical skills to gain higher + dignified employment.
RACE DAY DETAILS
You have the power to create your own Race Day experience, choosing HOW you want to ‘RUN’, WHO you run with, WHERE you want to run, and the TIME OF DAY on Saturday, May 14.
Please understand, this is NOT about completing a RUN. This is about taking ACTion + having fun, creating your own unique RACE DAY experience by completing a physical activity of your choice. You may choose:

- Run/Walk a 5k course
- Hike for 41 minutes {or as long as your soul needs}
- Family stroll in your neighborhood for 41 minutes
- Complete 41 Jumping Jacks morning + noon + night
- Run/Walk 4.1 miles on a treadmill
- Complete 4 weight circuits at your local gym
- Enjoy a 4 song family dance party
- Ride a bike outdoors for 41 miles
- Complete an online fitness video for 41 minutes
- Spend the morning gardening 4 {for} hours

INSTRUCTIONS
1. You must PRE-REGISTER by Monday, May 2 for guarantee receipt of your Participant Package before Race Day.
2. If you register AFTER May 2 your Participation Package may arrive once the A.C.T. RUN 4-1 has occurred. Please be assured we will do our best to ensure on-time delivery no matter when you register.
3. You will register through DonorBox, an external Registration page.
4. Participant Package:
LOCAL: If you are LOCAL to La Plata County we will host a PICK-UP DAY on Thursday, May 12 from 4-6 PM at Durango Joes on College located at 732 E. College Drive. Please Mark your Calendar!
NATIONAL: If you are participating NATIONALLY your Participant Packages will be MAILED the week of May 9. Please select the Individual/Group Shipping Fee on the Registration Page.
