Birthday Campaign
On August 25, 2010 we donated our first batch of ten Purses with Purpose filled with sixteen everyday products to meet the basic + physical needs of women fleeing domestic violence. We served 75 survivors locally that first year.
Since then we remain dedicated to our mission to ACT JUSTLY + DO GOOD with the purpose to RENEW DIGNITY by continuing to provide a Purse with Purpose and expanded our programs + services. With the support of many, Power to Act serves an average of 365 survivors of domestic violence locally and partners globally to provide 715+ hours of artisan training and vocation for dozens of improvised + rescued women in Haiti.
Here at Power to Act we recognize the importance of ensuring long-term provision for our vital programs and services that provide DIGNITY by uplifting women to a place of wholeness. We support our programs and grow our services by celebrating with our Annual Birthday Campaign, purposed to cultivate generous + thoughtful community who directly support our Dignity First Programs. Our Birthday Campaign is 100% about UPLIFTING women, and we want to assure you that when you give 100% of your donation INVESTS in women locally + globally.

You have the unique opportunity to sponsor everyday household items on behalf of the women and children we serve through our Dwell with Dignity Program. Power to Act provides an adequate selection of essential household furnishings and items for each Dwell with Dignity recipient, which transforms their bare house into a home of comfort and everyday function. You can UPLIFT women and browse + sponsor the select household items you desire to provide in-kind to our recipient and her children.

Your Dignity Donation is MONTHLY DONATION that directly supports our essential Dignity First Programs. Please be assured that 100% of your contribution will be purposefully designated towards the Program you select and your gift will UPLIFT local survivors of domestic violence + talented global artisans.

FUNDING: $45 Monthly Donation When you become a Purse Partner you create a FULL Purse with Purpose. This includes supporting our Haitian artisans who stitch each purse, all products placed inside each purse, and each generously-filled purse is donated to a local survivor. Every Monthly Donation fully funds + achieves our goal to donate 286 Purses with Purpose annually. |
