ON AUGUST 25, 2010 WE DONATED TEN PURSES WITH PURPOSE FILLED WITH SIXTEEN DAILY HYGIENE PRODUCTS TO LOCAL WOMEN FACING ADVERISTY.
Since that time we have continued to seek + identify opportunities to provide justice, practical kindness, and dignity by meeting the unmet + basic physical needs of women facing adversity in our local + global community. That's 13 YEARS of creating a PURSE WITH PURPOSE, a handbag stitched by talented global artisans in Haiti seeking ongoing dignified vocation and generously filled with practical + everyday products that demonstrate kindness to local women experiencing homelessness or survivors of domestic violence.

To celebrate each year we are host our BIRTHDAY CAMPAIGN with the goal to fund our PURSE WITH PURPOSE PROGRAM. Every month we donate FIFTEEN PURSES WITH PURPOSE, each generously filled with a selection of 11-17 PRACTICAL PRODUCTS that meet the basic physical needs of deserving women in our local community. Amazingly, each year we aim to create 190 PURSES WITH PURPOSE, which requires an average of 2,675 PRACTICAL PRODUCTS to fill the artisan-made handbags.

COMMUNITY: You will join our PURSE PARTNER COMMUNITY who, like you, seek to provide justice + kindness + dignity. Quarterly, you will receive a PURSE PARTNER POST sharing updates, celebrations, testimonies, and so much more. HISTORY: We donated our first ten purposeful handbags filled with sixteen daily hygiene products on August 25, 2010 to the Durango Community Shelter and the Southwest Safehouse. We have been donating a Purse with Purpose ever since! We started faithfully donating ten handbags bi-monthly, and since establishing our nonprofit in December 2016 we now donate an average of 15 handbags monthly to five different nonprofit recipients in SW Colorado. |
